Providing influenza and high dose influenza vaccines will be more important than ever before in order to keep vulnerable patient populations safe and reducing strain on healthcare resources during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this session, we will discuss concerns and barriers to providing flu injections in the current climate and review changes required in order to provide a safe and efficient influenza program in a community pharmacy. We will also review patient vaccine education and counseling on the various influenza vaccine options for adults and the elderly.
